30th December,2018 (Day 1): Dharasmahala arrival
Having arrived in Dharamshala, your evening is free for you to relax at your leisure. We recommend that you explore the nearby market which will keep you very busy and extremely happy.You can start your sightseeing tour by visiting McLeodganj which has a distinctly different character, with its brightly painted buildings, Buddhist temples, prayer flags fluttering in the air and saffron monks and nuns hurrying along the streets. You can visit the main Buddhist temple or Tsuglagkhang (cathedral). It is believed that the temple resembles the one in Lhasa, and is surrounded by red and gold prayer wheels that are set in motion by devotees to scatter prayers in the air. Later visit the Norbulingka Institute; it has a four-and-a-half meter gilded image of Buddha besides over a thousand painted images on its walls.
After spending time on the Mall Road you can visit Dal Lake along with Church of St. John in the Wilderness, built in 1860. Later return back to the hotel for night stay.You can also try the impressive row of restaurants which will keep your grumbling stomachs quite happy.Night stay at hotel.
31st December,2018 (Day-2):New Year’s Eve
It's New Year's Eve in Dharamshala! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning at the hotel and make sure you still have an appetite for the indulgences of the evening ahead.Today is free for you to explore the city on your own.Tonight is New Year's Eve and time to celebrate, Himachali -style! Venturing back towards Mall Road we will join the crowds - locals and travellers alike, to ring in the New Year. With an electric atmosphere this will be a party to remember!
1st January,2019 (Day-3): New Year’s Day
Happy New Year!There is plenty of time to linger over breakfast this morning as bedrooms need not be vacated until 11 a.m. Check out from hotel & afternoon is free at leisure,you can visit Bhagsunag Waterfall and Dharamkot.Until next year then? “We wish you a safe journey home and a healthy and prosperous new year.”
